I Used To Be Famous (2022) BEST
This charming comedy-drama could be accused of being a little overly sentimental at times. But there's no denying that I Used to Be Famous has a good heart. Skrein excels in the lead role. His character, Vince, has a real sincerity to him that enriches the performance. There's also an authenticity that derives from hiring a neurodiverse actor (Long) to play the character of Stevie -- who is on the autistic spectrum -- and something the film should be commended for.
I Used to Be Famous (2022)
When Vince discovers an autistic young drummer Stevie (Long), he finds himself getting internet fame. Giving him hope he could kickstart his career again, only for Vince to struggle to deal with his past and what caused his original loss of fame.

Midjourney is also the name of the text-to-image model I used to create the images. It started as a closed beta for a very limited number of digital artists and researchers. A couple of weeks ago they opened the beta for anyone to play with it.
I then adapted the description to a prompt that Midjourney could understand. Midjourney prompts contain elements separated by different symbols: a plus (+), a comma (,), or a double colon (::). Depending on how much you want Midjourney to combine the elements (:: is the strongest break, while the other two are pretty much the same) you may want to choose differently, although the results may surprise you anyway. I used + to combine the concepts.
Each section below comprises a famous landscape painting on the left and Midjourney’s recreation on the right. Above the images, I’ve written GPT-3’s description of the original painting and my translation to a syntactically correct prompt for Midjourney.
Once I selected the paintings, I had to prompt GPT-3 to give me the descriptions. I used a generic simple prompt: “Describe with visual details [name of painting] by [name of author] in one paragraph.” I took the first or second completions without editing, even if I knew GPT-3 had missed some elements.
If I used human-made detailed descriptions of the paintings, I’d have gotten better results. Still, text-to-image models are generally pretty bad at compositionality. That means they have a hard time understanding “X is above Y” or “X is at the right of Y.” They don’t get the relative positions of elements and those are often key distinctive features of the artworks.
Just Stop Oil activists glue their hands to the wall after throwing soup at Vincent van Gogh's "Sunflowers" at the National Gallery in London earlier this month. Museums and famous artworks have long been the site of public protests. Just Stop Oil/Reuters hide caption
Protesters were arrested over the weekend after throwing mashed potatoes on a Claude Monet painting hanging in a German museum, the latest recent example of activists defacing (albeit briefly) famous artworks in order to draw attention to the existential threat posed by climate change.
In May, a man disguised as an old woman in a wheelchair threw a piece of cake at the Mona Lisa, shouting at people to "think of the Earth" as he was escorted out of the Louvre Museum in Paris. In July, Italian climate protesters glued their hands to the glass covering Sandro Botticelli's Primavera in Florence's Uffizi Gallery. Around the same time, members of Just Stop Oil stuck themselves to the frames of famous works in London, Manchester and Glasgow, and spray painted "No New Oil" under a copy of Da Vinci's The Last Supper.
PAIN (which stands for Prescription Addiction Intervention Now) was founded in 2017 by American photographer and activist Nan Goldin, who herself recovered from a yearslong addiction to the powerful painkiller. The group aims to hold the manufacturers of the opioid crisis accountable, and initially focused mainly on what it calls the "toxic philanthropy of the billionaire Sackler family."
"Direct action works," Goldin said after the Guggenheim renamed its education center in May of this year. "Our group has fought for over four years to hold the family accountable in the cultural realm with focused, effective action, and with tremendous support from local groups that fought by our side."
PHP is an open-source programming language that is widely used in web development. It initially stood for Personal Homepage but evolved to be the recursive acronym for Hypertext Preprocessor. It is a general-purpose programming language that can create Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) and a server-side scripting language.
Some of the standard implementations for PHP include Zend engine, Hip Hop, parrot, Hip Hop Virtual Machine (HPVM), etc. PHP is generally used for creating web servers. It is possible to show it in the terminal when code output is not required in the browser. Hence, PHP runs effectively on both command lines and browsers.
PHP has been in the IT industry for more than 25 years and is still used to create responsive and dynamic websites. The secret lies in the long list of its advantages offered over the years of multiple versions that, in turn, include added features. The key advantages of this general-purpose scripting language include:
Do you know that around 78.1% of websites whose server-side programming is known to use PHP language only? Coming to the top names of famous and widely used websites that use PHP, the following are the top 15 best websites that choose PHP as their partner:
Ideally called the birthplace of memes; the Tumblr community has created more than 555 million monthly visitors and 325 million blogs. Tumblr has used PHP since 2016, helped them with upgraded performance parameters, and introduced new language features. Some key features include return-type declarations, scalar type hints, etc.
It is one of the widely used websites by ace photographers. It has used PHP with Nginx as the web server that offered quick page loading for high-traffic websites. Some of the fantastic features of Flickr included profiles, photo streams, albums, galleries, groups, etc.
PHP is a cross-platform language that can be used with any operating system. Further, it can effectively combine with any other programming language. Hence, using PHP offers advanced benefits of flexible website development to professional and inexperienced developers.
PHP is compatible with MySQL, MS-SQL, SQLite, PostgreSQL, etc. Further, it can be used with non-relational databases, MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch, etc. Hence, developers can choose from different available databases according to their needs.
Common uses: Python is used in a wide variety of applications, including artificial intelligence, financial services, and data science. Social media sites such as Instagram and Pinterest are also built on Python.
Common uses: C# is the go-to language for Microsoft ad Windows application development. It can also be used for mobile devices and video game consoles using an extension of the .NET Framework called Mono.
Benefits: R is heavily used in statistical analytics and machine learning applications. The language is extensible and runs on many operating systems. Many large companies have adopted R in order to analyze their massive data sets, so programmers who know R are in great demand.
Drawbacks: Swift can only be used on newer versions of iOS 7 and will not work with older applications. As a newer programming language, the code can be unstable at times, and there are fewer third-party resources available to programmers.
Benefits: PHP is widely used for server-side web development, when a website frequently requests information from a server. As an older language, PHP benefits from a large ecosystem of users who have produced frameworks, libraries, and automation tools to make the programming language easier to use. PHP code is also easy to debug. 041b061a72
