Internet Vikings is ready to significantly increase the size of their client base in Pennsylvania

Friday, 25 November 2022

Internet Vikings marks off yet another goal in the U.S. iGaming and online sports betting market as it prepares to increase the volume of clients it services in Pennsylvania. Local authorities approve the global hosting provider to deploy their Multi-Tenant Cloud hosting product within the state.

“I am extremely pleased to receive the authorization from Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to operate our Multi-Tenant Cloud hosting services in the state of Pennsylvania”, Rickard Vikström, Founder and CEO at Internet Vikings.

The industry recognizes Pennsylvania as one of the more important markets due to the fact that it is one of very few jurisdictions which permit all three online wagering types: online sports betting, online casino and online poker. Furthermore, it is continuously among the five highest grossing states in terms of the revenue generated.

“This latest advancement is not only an important gain for Internet Vikings”, Rickard Vikström continues. “It enables our company to address the global hardware shortage currently faced by the industry, which in its turn gives a competitive advantage to our clients allowing for a quicker time to enter the American market”.

The hosting provider started its U.S. journey with vigor, following the market trends and developing solutions that suit each state's unique requirements. Currently, Internet Vikings’ custom products cater to clients through over 20 local data centres across 18 U.S. states, and more openings are expected in the near future.

“We want to continue adding value to iGaming and online sports betting businesses across the U.S. with our extensive understanding of the market and reliable cloud hosting options. Expanding our service offerings in Pennsylvania is a big step forward for us, and the team looks forward to welcoming new clients and partnerships.” - Kristoffer Ottosson, Internet Vikings’ Chief Operating Officer, concluded.
