Playtech launches casino content in New Jersey with bet365

Industry giant and gambling software developer Playtech have announced it has launched its casino content in the state of New Jersey, through its long-term strategic partnership with major global operator bet365. Playtech’s long-term agreement signifies the provider’s entry into the jurisdictions of the United States. It later plans to seek other partnerships with local operators to extend its influence. It received regulatory approval from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to offer casino games in the state together with bet365 in June 2020. bet365 has been active in the jurisdiction since 2019, when it launched its retail sportsbook branches in partnership with Hard Rock Atlantic City. “This is a significant moment for Playtech and our development in the US," Playtech chief operating officer Shimon Akad said of the deal. "Launching Playtech’s software in the US is a landmark, and we are very pleased to be taking this step with one of our most trusted partners in bet365.“
